Environmental Compliance

PMC is committed to responsible design and manufacturing and is prepared to meet international environmental standards. PMC is a fabless company that outsources all manufacturing activities to third party suppliers. All our major foundry and assembly suppliers have implemented environmental management systems and are certified to ISO 14001.

PMC has qualified our package technologies, to the best of our knowledge, in compliance to the following legislations or considerations:

• European Directive 2002/95/EC of Hazardous Substances (RoHS). The EU RoHS compliant products also meet the requirements of the China RoHS.
• EU Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals compliance
• Frank Dodd Act for conflict minerals
• Other commonly restricted substances:
  • Halogen-free packaging materials are being considered or selected for new designs (Bromine < 900ppm; Chlorine< 900ppm; Bromine + Chlorine < 1500 ppm).
  • PFOS/PFOA (2006/122/EC) are not intentionally added in PMC's products
