Tachyon StorClad™ encryption technology delivers Unparalled performance for Fibre Channel and SAS/SATA storage products with Line Rate encryption and minimal latency through optimized architecture and key assist circuitry. Line rate performance with zero key context switch overhead enables Tachyon Fibre Channel controllers with StorClad encryption technology to keep pace with advancing Solid State Drive (SSD) technologies.

Tachyon StorClad technology provides assured reliability and data integrity through parity protection across the cryptographic engines and redundant checks to ensure that the correct key was used to encrypt the data. StorClad also seamlessly interoperates with industry standard T10 DIF to offer end-to-end data protection.

Tachyon StorClad encryption technology is scalable from one to hundreds of disks, and can support thousands of connections with up to a million encryption keys per port. (Depending on the interface).

Being disk drive and I/O protocol agnostic, and having an external key management interface, Tachyon Storclad encryption technology provides many flexible deployment options for storage OEM's that are compatible with today's compression and de-dupe solutions.
